What Next?
It is very common for students to find The Infinite Way in the following ways: a friend gives them a book, they find the book on a family library shelf, a book surfaces in a garage sale, thrift shop, or some other unexpected place. We read and get our first taste of Joel. Either we are boarded to death and put the book away, or we suddenly realize it is the answer to what we have been missing in our life.
After a number of books, it is common to crave the spiritual experience Joel describes. We begin to seek a teacher or tape group.Now begins the earnest, hard work. It is time to begin the tapes. When I ordered my first tape, no one would recommend a title. I was at a loss, for how could I know which title I wanted and only one would do for now.
Over the years, the following list of tapes and writings have proven to be classics which serve us at whatever level we find ourselves. Joel's message is difficult. It is lovely to read, but very tough to really grasp and live. Therefore, I have found the most success (with those students earnestly seeking illumination experiences) with the tapes and books below. Get these and study these only for at least a year, and you will be taken to heights of meditation with our without a living teacher.
