There was a time when Mystics of the World served a very good purpose for students of The Infinite Way. MYSTICS offered out-of-print and original materials no longer available elsewhere. Unfortunately, each year more and more names are being added to the what was once Joel's materials. Now, we find if anyone writes a book referencing Joel Goldsmith or The Infinite Way, or "based on" them, MYSTICS will sell it. Please understand, this is a business.
I urge you to be very, very careful. You run the risk of wasting both time and money. Please focus on Joel's works, whenever possible getting the original, unedited works. The exception to this warning are the following:
J. Allen Boone
Brother Lawrence
Richard Bucke
Don Blanding
Edmond Szekely
Mary Strong
Please do not assume that all the authors listed by Mystics of the World are, indeed, mystics. All those who claim to be Infinite Way or Joel Goldsmith related are using Joel, and going against his expressed instructions in The Letter to Norman.
I am sorry to be a broken record, but I sometimes feel like a parent with a rebellious teen. The more you try to correct, the more they rebel. My concern is not for them, but for you.
One excellent resource Denice does carry is not listed in the book. It is the ORIGINAL copy of The Monthly Letter, comb bound by year. Please add these to your library. A must are 1963 and 1964. Add the rest as you are able. Do not bother with those after 1964, they are Sinkler consciousness, not Joel's.
Do look into any original, unedited materials and consider getting the Compendium for referencing. Do not bother with the Norman Lawrence Mystical Wisdom of the Ages. It is a hard to decipher coded listing of tapes at a steep price. Better to buy tapes with the money. They will live with you for the rest of your life.
