It has been a wonderful two years of open access. As we work to continue to add new content to the pages with no advertising, we have added a password component to the site. Along with more unedited works of Joel's, we will be adding new translations of unedited, original materials in Spanish and Russian. (As always, we look forward to any student offering further translations, particularly in Asian and East Indian languages.)

In order to offer all students our resources of Joel's works, we have kept some of the pages open. You will all continue to enjoy easy access to a number of pages.

We hope that these new changes will help serve you even more. I know that our students will appreciate the time and financial support needed to continue to make this website interesting, informative, secure and free of advertising. Thank you for your visits and your meditations. I look forward to you becoming a regular supporter.

Interesting Statistics for You

I thought it might be interesting for you all to know that in the month of April at least 360 students came to this "Password" page to read about how to access other parts of this site. In that same period, only 12 students have subscribed. One would not expect this kind of reservation from the general IW population. Checking the counters on the Guestbook and main page shows us that tens of thousands have benefited from the site.

Recent records show that we continue to be studied by hundreds in Africa, India, Russia, Asia, South Pacific, South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Finland, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and all of America, with many students coming week after week, month after month.

Concerns Many May Be Holding

Recently, students have been letting me know of their support for this site as well as their reservations about the use of the Password. The questions posed and comments about charging contain many lessons for us and so I will, with respect, look at what has been presented and explain. Within the loving letters the following is implied: money taints a spiritual message; seekers of truth or healing are poor; integrity is a function of not charging; asking for a small token of support affects the integrity of the site.

Money Taints a Message

Money is constantly a topic which comes up in religion. Organizations need it to operate and this breeds governing boards, fund-raising, government affiliations and regulations through tax-exemptions, etc. Joel expressly shunned this and warns us repeatedly against this action.

Why is money such a hot button? Historically, it may be universal human consciousness reacting to the huge land-grab by orthodoxy in the year 999. Those interested can research this and see how many were tricked out of land and possessions at this time. The myth was that only the poor could enter heaven and most of the Christian world was duped.

The Infinite Way message is a teaching. It is not about promising/selling miracles. We know that miracles happen, but healings are free and practitioners are supported by those whose healings bring a spiritual reaction of gratitude. Some patients, the few, have this. The majority of patients feel better and soon forget the Christ Consciousness behind the healing and the practitioner who brought it. Today's practitioners are more often ignored than honored. I have no answer for why. The healings still occur.

As a teaching, The Infinite Way falls into the category of education, education of consciousness. Even public schools are not free. So, to consider this site to be so very beneficial because it is "full of love and expertise," and yet question the need for financial support is not logical. Surely, the time and years of study sacrificed to bring information to you and the creation of the site itself, are still a gift in honor of Joel.

Does asking for help to maintain the site, insure complete privacy of identities and keep advertising away for a miniscule sum offend? (Unless one pays a fee, advertising automatically appears). Only two people have access to the site information. The internet services to host the site, pay for the name, etc. are all things that must be paid. God does not pay the bills, IT needs us to.

Seekers of Truth and Healing are Poor

Our principles teach that each soul is the child of God, AT THIS MOMENT, in their fullness of Supply, Health, Harmony, Companionship. It is malpractice to see a student as less than this. In order to heal this sense of lack and limitation, I MUST SEE YOU as supplied and able to afford this work. I must see you as the PRINCE, heir to the kingdom by birthright. I must KNOW that you HAVE, this minute all that you will EVER need. (The small, MINIMUM price is meant to allow all to participate as they are able. Some surely could pay $100, $1,000 a month to keep the work available.)

Joel speaks of the poem on the Statue of Liberty with criticism for it asks for the weak, hungry, poor of the world. We don't see man as such. This is an awful poem. We want the best, the skilled, the successful, the brightest, the MOST loving and kind. This is what we see when we see each person as the Christ. This is what you need me to see in you.

Orthodoxy would like us to feel that anyone involved with spiritual work should be a pauper. This only serves an organization so that believers continue to give and volunteers continue to volunteer. In truth, we all should out-picture the Principle of Supply with financial abundance and gratitude.

Integrity is a Function of Not Charging

This is error. It cannot be that truth is dependent on money. A free lesson is not necessarily true, nor is a lesson for a fee false. Usually, the opposite is true in the human realm. The more it costs, the more we trust and believe it. When it is free, we doubt and question. When we consider truth, we must go within, get a sense of consciousness. This has no price. Joel never gave anything away for free except a few introductory issues to the Monthly Letter. Why? Because the students who were seeking a free teaching were not very good students.

A Spiritual Teacher Should Not be Concerned with Money

Ah, now this IS true. They should not have to put a price on their work, their time, their help. Students should give freely and generously to their teacher and practitioner without being billed or asked. Trouble is, students don't. We could say that this then means they do not like the work, do not benefit from the work, do not feel any consciousness, do not get healings, and find no truth in the offering. Thousands of repeat students belie this evaluation. On the rare occasion when someone writes about the website, it is with praise, gratitude and approval.

Joel tells us that teachers and practitioners must individually bring forth their own supply. Wives must bring forth their own supply separate from their husbands. How, without organization, without human employment (so that they are free to remain in study, healing work and meditation), without relying on a spouse or children for financial support - do students expect the teacher to simply cover expenses let alone survive?
