The Infinite Way does not add to any organizational activity, nor does it take from such activity since The Infinite Way does not invite anyone to leave their present religious home for any purpose.
Those who do, do so only because they have reached a stage, or believe they have reached a stage, in consciousness where they can live completely in the realization of God.

The essence of the study of The Infinite Way teaching is the collection of tape recorded classes (www.joelgoldsmith.com) given by Joel S. Goldsmith, his unedited early works (see 60th Anniversary page at http://www.jashasalter.com) and writings before the early 1970s.
The wise student will accept no teacher who mixes teachings or uses any teaching materials or tapes other than Joel Goldsmith's. (Joel explains this over and over on tape. If a teacher teaches with their personal materials, they are teaching THEIR personal teaching, not The Infinite Way. Integrity begs the teacher to be very clear on their own unfoldment and the message of Joel's unfoldment.)
Here is a check list to measure an Infinite Way teacher's integrity and authenticity. (Keep in mind that IW teachers are called by Grace to serve. They do not inherit a student body or their parent's consciousness.)
At the present time, it is tragic that there are few in the world able to help you on your path. Amateur websites which try to imitate Joel pop up almost daily. Most are people who have read a book or two and claim to be able to help. Many are students of Joel's orginal teachers who all fell to temptation and thus, broke Joel's trust. Lorraine Sinkler eventually stated she had risen higher than Joel, higher than the REVELATOR! Virginia Stephenson's years of teaching have only produced one "teacher", her son, who admits to not being able to heal. The Office of The Infinite Way® likewise claims a legacy of mother to daughter, eventually to granddaughter. (This is fine for a business, but not possible with consciousness.) They give no referrals.
This leaves very little help for the average seeker. Thus, this website is at your service to teach you what you cannot learn in other places, to share history many want forgotten, and to guide you in an independent study, if you so desire.
The story is as old as history. Avoid any tapes or writings in the Infinite Way that are not Joel's. Avoid anyone who cannot heal and does not meditate. Outside interpretations only dilute his message.
We do not chat, discuss, blog, share transcripts (for the accuracy is too important - a small mistake may change everything for you). We do not tape or make Infinite Way writings of our own and share or sell. We are not a social club of "like-minded people." We are serious students of mysticism and thereby spiritual healing. For various personal reasons, the teachers Joel left his work to have fought over control, misled students for personal gain, mis-taught that teaching and/or healing ability can be passed on to family members, misled by ignoring what Joel himself describes as his "STRICTEST RULES" in the Letter to Norman. Joel's step-family publically teaches that Joel did not want practioners, teachers, or tape groups.
At NO TIME have I found letters, materials or instructions which would, in any way imply that Joel did not want his message carried on by future teachers and practitioners. He cautions us not to enter the work without being anointed from WITHIN, but this is only to spare US the pain and suffering of failure on the path, not at all to limit the work. It is ABSOLUTELY FALSE to say that Joel did not want practitioners or teachers. (Confirm this by looking in any tape catalogue.)
It is likewise false to say that Joel did not charge for healing or teaching. He did and we have proof. He stopped having a specific fee for healing, as he did in Christian Science, but he was CONSTANTLY sent "enclosures" in letters for help by students. He was showered with gifts of gratitude and stated over and over on tapes to his teachers and practitioners (available for sale today, check the catalogue) that the students were to support the teachers and practitioners financially to keep the message alive in the future. He said that the books were the least of his income, that the healing work was what supported him. How could that be if the healings were free? How could the work survive if practitoners have to eat, pay rent, phone, postage and train in classes?
If these understandings are not corrected, there will be no healing or correct teaching in the future. Please do your own research and do not accept what is being taught elsewhere. (See page Proof/Joel Teachers for Joel's words.)
My motive is to keep the Infinite Way pure and alive. I invite any correction on any comment that is not absolutely in tune with JOEL. (Make sure, however, that the correction comes with references to his own words.)

"How long does it take a student who wants to attain spiritual consciousness to attain it? I can give you half the answer. A student cannot even start until his goal is no longer that of meeting his personal problems of health or wealth or happiness. The search for God-awareness must become the primary motive of study. Then the spiritual student is halfway home. He must decide that the goal of Christ Consciousness is his only goal and having help for his other problems as being secondary. I am not saying that he should neglect human situations but that these should be secondary. It then might not take a student too long. Attaining that Mind which was also in Christ Jesus should be the primary goal.
"It is an interesting thing for me to watch this work and see some of the students who are beautifully attaining it and then watch those who want a healing for a minor physical claim and are complaining because they have not yet attained heaven. In other words, these students are still living for themselves and are making themselves the goal rather than having as their goal the attaining of heaven..."
In the "Across the Desk" of 1967 we find Emma making a comment that would apply today to all who are mimicking Joel and producing work based on The Infinite Way revelations of Joel.
"Of all the gifts that have been given to us on this spiritual journey, the greatest gift is the awakening to the Christ-presence within that has come to the students of The Infinite Way through Joel's revelation.
"We can express our gratitude for this gift in many ways. One is by going forth and doing likewise, being a light in our particular world. As we do that , however, honesty and integrity will compel us to give recognition and credit to the teaching that has lifted us up to a state of consciousness that is a transparency for the Christ. No one who has attained that state of consciousness would give forth this Message as his own revelatioin, but in writing or speaking would give due credit to the person who made this possible.
"Joel often spoke of this special kind of integrity, citing cases of persons who had received a measure of illumination through a teacher and then failed to recognize their debt, thereby turning their spiritual clock backwards until such time as an awakening to the meaning of spiritual integrity is given them. It is a little thing ---if there is any measure of humility --- to give proper acknowledgment for direct or indirect quotations, and yet such honesty is of great importance to the spiritual growth of the student."
How many times do we see this simple request being ignored as more and more claim the mantel of Joel and use his work to further their own egos? How many books on the principles need to be written if we have Joel? Who can say it better than Joel? Fine, if you have something NEW to say, but to repeat what Joel taught? What is the point?
Remember Joel's serious directions in The Letter to Norman. We see why this was such a dangerous letter and why it was suppressed. Do be careful, no writings or tapes but Joel's. Otherwise, you are dealing with an impostor. Be wise and use your common sense.

The Infinite Way® Office is primarily a tape store run by Ms. MacDonald and Ropac the family of Joel's last wife and heirs to Emma Goldsmith. I do not consider them teachers of Joel's message or authorities beyond the history of Joel with Emma. When she met Joel, Ms. MacDonald was a married mother of Sue her daughter and a son, the age of Sammy, Emma's son by a former marriage. The "selling" of their connection with Joel makes classes with them little more than family reminiscing.
They still produce The Monthly Letter which is in dire need of literary supervision; although it claims to be a transcript of a tape.
They say that healing and teaching should be free. They do not believe in training new practitioners or teachers and discourage students from using anyone but them.
We, however, have learned from Joel's tapes that he very much expected that the future of the Infinite Way included the raising up of teachers and practitioners. This is made very clear on all the Teacher and Practitioner tapes he made and the instructions he gave them for the future. Joel teaches very clearly that teachers should charge, that patients support practitioners and that gratitude is the highest spirititual acknowledgment. Joel knew that the message depended on healing and teaching and that this depended on the financial support of the teachers and practitioners by the students. The tapes prove this over and over.
Since the office (Ropac and MacDonald) trademarked the name, The Infinite Way®, they are the only commercial users of the name with these exceptions:
Lorraine Sinkler was awarded the use of the name, The Infinite Way for her work in the 1985 lawsuit against Emma Goldsmith.
Lorene McClintock had Joel's expressed and legally confirmed permission to use The Infinite Way in her outline course.
This website is the legal and rightful owner of www.infiniteway.com since it was a site purchased by me, Jasha Salter, with full permission of Geri MacDonald and before the name was trademarked. I only use this name for the web address because so many students know me by it, but my work is named Circle of Christhood and To Honor God (www.essenemystic.com).
