The Flowers are Included in the Garden

This was taken from Joel's lecture "0022A Major Principles of the Infinite Way"

"Ultimately you must walk into heaven on your own understanding. And you will only accomplish this in proportion as your love of God increases. As you make God your goal. Ordinarily, and more especially in the metaphysical world, God is just a means to accomplish our goal, whereas in the infinite way God itself is our goal, the realization of God, the attainment of that mind which was also in Christ Jesus, that in itself is our goal.

The study, the reading, the hearing, the meditating, these are steps toward that goal. The harmonies of life, the health, the wholeness, the completeness, the infinity of supply, these are the added things. And actually not so much added as included. Once we attain the goal of God, we really do not find anything added unto us.

We find that our good is included in the God realization we have attained. When you go into a garden, you do not find flowers added unto you. You find them included in the garden. The secret then is to seek the garden and find the flowers included."
